This is the obligatory MTC photo...where are we going? Kuching, Malaysia!

The other couple is our first companion couple, Elder and Sister Barnes from Rupert, Idaho.  They will be serving in West Virginia. 

 Our first week at the MTC was filled with instruction and training to help us become effective at teaching the gospel and invite others to come unto Christ.

As senior welfare missionaries, we got the weekend off so we returned home to finish packing. On Monday we continue our training by taking a field trip to Welfare Square. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we will be back at the Provo MTC for Humanitarian Service training. And then we catch our flight to Singapore on Thursday night.

Wilson Malaysia Adventure Blogspot!

April 22, 2017 This is my first blogspot post.
Craig and I have just spent our first week at the MTC.  It has been awesome!  We are busy packing and trying to get all things in order at home before leaving later this week for Malaysia.  I hope that this blogspot will be of interest to family and friends.  We will miss all of you.  We are excited to be going on this great adventure! We hope to be partnering with other NGO's to help with many humanitarian service projects.  We are excited about this great assignment!
