May 1, 2017 in Singapore! What an awesome city/state!
We started off our mission with a P-day and went touring the most awesome botanical garden we've ever visited (and we've seen some of the best.) It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is truly amazing!  The orchid garden had the most beautiful orchids!




In the evening and then tomorrow we will be attending a zone conference and then will fly to Kuching, Malaysia on Wednesday.

For now, we are bunking in a recently vacated senior missionary apartment near the mission offices.  It's a nice place in a very nie part of town, although we have not seen any part of Singapore that's not nice.  So far, mission life has been more like an exotic vacation.




We are sure that reality will set in once we get to Malaysia. We are excited to get started in humanitarian service work.
